The Consultants at North Berman & Beebe

Elizabeth A. North has been actively engaged in legal recruiting in Washington, D.C. since 1982. Ms. North is a founding member and past member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Legal Search Consultants. Prior to entering the legal recruiting field, she was the branch manager of a technical recruiting company and the recruiting officer of a major national company. During her legal recruiting career, she has established branch offices for out of town law firms in the Washington, D.C. area as well as opening offices for national law firms in other cities. She has assisted national law firms in acquiring lateral partners and groups in a variety of practice disciplines in addition to placing many associates with clients of North Berman & Beebe.

Wendy Berman Jensen has been actively involved in legal recruiting since 1987. Ms. Jensen previously served as the Attorney Recruiting Coordinator for Dickstein, Shapiro and Morin and as the Director of Recruitment for Patton, Boggs and Blow. She served as a member of the National Association of Law Placement and the Washington Area Legal Recruitment Administrators Association. Since becoming a legal recruiter, Wendy has placed associates, partners and groups. Ms. Jensen attended Tulane University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland.

Colin Parker Beebe has been actively involved in legal recruiting since 1989. He has been involved in the placement of associates, partners and groups. He has opened Northern Virginia offices for two national law firms. Colin has had particular success in the corporate, technology, commercial litigation, white collar, telecommunications and food and drug areas.

Frank Lewis Bate has over twenty years of experience in business management with an emphasis in personnel, training and recruiting. Since joining North Berman & Beebe in 2001, he has focused his attention on matching the personal and professional needs of lawyers with those of law firms and corporations. He has placed partners and associates in DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia law firms and in house. Frank earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the George Washington University in 1981. He has lived in the Washington, DC metro area for twenty-five years and has many contacts in the local legal community.

Sonia Nicole Hering joined North Berman & Beebe in June of 2000. In 2002, she completed her paralegal studies and earned her paralegal degree. Prior to joining North Berman & Beebe, Ms. Hering worked for five years in sales and service in the banking industry.

Paul T. Furlong joined North Berman & Beebe in June of 2005 and has placed associates in various practice areas. Prior to joining North Berman & Beebe, Paul was an advertising representative for the Chicago Tribune. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from DePaul University in 2002.
